Photo Strip FUN

To encourage people to leave a few of their photostrips and display them for other guests to peruse throughout your event, setup an large magnet board.  Buy a bunch of inexpensive magnets and write up a nice little reminder to save some photostrips for the host/hostess.  You never know what you may end up with more photostrips or guests.

Custom Photo Strip Frames

We all know that photo booths are one of the most fun additions to any event or wedding.  You walk into a booth and for a few moments (sometimes numerous times) you act silly or sweet while the booth takes your snapshots.  The photo strips end up in your pocket or purse with bent edges, or sadly forgotten on the table.

This great idea came from one of our brides, photo strip frames.  Instead of having a simple paper place card for your guests, each guest can have their very own frame.  It is personalized with their name, table number, and a note to stop by the booth, so they can add their photos in as well.

Or if you are looking for a simple DIY favor idea, you can write a note to your guests and have a table with the frames next to the photo booth for each guest.  And then they get to take the frame home to remember the fun memories of the night.

Tis the Season for Holiday Cards

Every year around the holidays everyone preps for their yearly send out of holiday inspired cards to family, friends, and associates.  The pressures of finding that perfect personalized card arise.  I guess that is why the trend seems to be going towards photo cards.  The photos you choose can covey a story in one great image or a collage of images from throughout the year.

How about mixing it up and using photo booth images?  This can make quite an impression from sweet, serious, or totally silly, whatever you choose that is a little unique.

For some simple layouts to use, take a glance at some of these sites:

And The Winners Are??

Bar Mitzvah ePod Photo Booth Fun

What Bar Mitzvah would be complete without the gripping anticipation of who will win?   In this case, a photo contest.  There is nothing more popular at any Bar or Bat Mitzvah than the photo booth.  Teens can never get enough photos of themselves.  Photo booths seem to satisfy this need and bring great party fun by inspiring “silly”

Combine these Bar Mitzvah Mugshots with a talented DJ and let the contest begin.  Here’s how it works.

As photo booth strips are produced during the event, the guests try hard/easy to create the perfect photo to be judged in the winning categories designed by the DJ/Guests/Sponsors.  Photo booth companies are wonderful at providing props for guests to use which add a certain level of inspiration for that all important element of silliness required to compete.

The categories can be whatever you like.  The Funniest, Worst, Best, Goofiest, Cutest, Scariest.  You get the idea.  Or, categories can simply be #1, #2, #3.

Photos are then submitted by individuals  or friends.  Those not wishing to participate have no obligation.  Adults wishing to compete might also be encouraged.  Let the DJ decide how winners are chosen.

Awards can be done periodically throughout the event or at the end.  Let the DJ generate suspense and the thrill is on.  The”prizes” for winning can simply be the FAME itself, memorable ribbons, or winners start off the next dance.  Deciding the prizes can be just as much fun as the contest.  Good luck to ALL!

How to Use a Photo Booth at Wedding Reception

Photo booths are a great way to entertain guests and capture priceless memories at your wedding reception. You’ll get great pictures that will give you a cool behind-the-scenes look at your own wedding.  The idea of using a photo booth guest book is quickly replacing the traditional sign-in guest book.  Assisted by a company representative, each guest contributes a photo strip and some words of wisdom for the new couple, who get the guest book at the end of the night.  The best thing about this kind of guest book is that you will be continually reminded of all the fun your guests had on your special day.
