At this year’s Bridal Bazaar, we were helping to promote our friends at the Hilton at Harbor Island!  The Epod was specially branded and brides inquiring about having their weddings there got their photos taken and had some laughs!

Eat Your Props!

Sunday was the 2011 Bridal Bazaar at the San Diego Convention Center.  We also introduced 2 NEW options for our brides which were provided by our compadres at Candee By Sandee and Tailored Sweets, both of whom have created EDIBLE PROPS!  Guests could go through the booth, pose with thier edible sweets, take home silly pictures and then EAT THEIR PROPS!  It’s like dinner and a show, except YOU are the show!  Below are several photos from each and an explanation of what they can offer you.  Both offer a totally unique and fun addition to your guests photo booth experience and go hand in hand with the Epod!

First we had custom-made candy props created by Candee by Sandee.  Demonstrated here by our lovely assistant, Lori, you can enjoy an assortment of chocolate mustaches or white chocolate lips!  These were very popular and were gone within the first hour.  You can learn more by contacting Sandee at (949)900-6772 or at  info@candeebysandee.com.

Next… you won’t believe this… Tailored Sweets created one of a kind CAKE PROPS!  That’s right, delicious cake truffles dipped in chocolate and put on a stick.  They can come in a variety of flavors.  These went like hotcakes… or maybe chocolate cakes! ComicCon ePod

Last night we spent an evening on the Bayfront Hilton balcony entertaining Scholastic Inc, the publishers of the Bone comic series, created by Jeff Smith.  Bone is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year as part of the ComicCon 2011 festivities.  The booth looked great with Jeff’s artwork plastered on the external panel and Bone himself was on hand for celebrity photos with the cast and crew who make it all possible. 

It was a beautiful night under the stars and the ePod was the primary source of entertainment.  I’m happy to report they laughed their ComiCon’s off all night long!  If you are a fan of Bone, you might enjoy seeing Bone, Jeff Smith and the Scholastic team goofing off in the ePod by watching the short video at the bottom of this post.  Thanks guys; we’ll see you next year!

Freedom Festival

What a beautiful day it was! A perfect 4th of july from start to finish.  We had 2 photo booths going at the Freedom Festival, produced by the Navy at the Admiral Kidd Club.  6 hours of non-stop Americans, stopping by to take a photo.  We took 1400 photographs today!!  And, at the end of the night, we were treated to a front row seat for the best fireworks show in the country.  What country?  The USA!  Thanks to all those who stopped by and remember, you can download your photos for FREE, at

A Royal Affair

Temecula Wedding Event

Photo Strip FUN

To encourage people to leave a few of their photostrips and display them for other guests to peruse throughout your event, setup an large magnet board.  Buy a bunch of inexpensive magnets and write up a nice little reminder to save some photostrips for the host/hostess.  You never know what you may end up with more photostrips or guests.

Sweetheart Special

Reserve the ePod Talking Photobooth for your wedding before Valentines Day and get a free save-the-date photo session in the ePod.  Choose one of the postcard formats below and we’ll take care of your printing needs!

Simply place your deposit before February 14, 2011 and mention you would like the Sweethearts Special.  We’ll arrange a time for you to come by the Bridal Bar in San Diego for your photo booth session.  Then we’ll mail you your save-the-date cards and envelopes, ready to be mailed out!
